Ochoa's Mexican Grill | Our Story

Serious Food Behind Unassuming Doors

Serious Food Behind Unassuming Doors

Ochoa's Mexican Grill opened in 2024 in a quiet strip mall off Sunset Boulevard in St. George, Utah — no flashy signage, no fuss. Just a kitchen dead-set on cooking the boldest, most authentic Mexican food in southern Utah.
About Ochoa’s Mexican Grill

About Ochoa’s Mexican Grill

Ochoa’s Mexican Grill began with Antonio and Gloria Ochoa, a love for authentic Mexican food, family, and a dream of building something together. We opened our first Ochoa’s Mexican Grill in Rexburg, Idaho, where we are still proudly serving the community today. From the beginning, our goal has been simple: serve fresh, flavorful Mexican food made with care and make everyone who walks through our doors feel welcome. Today, we are grateful to continue our story in St. George, Utah. As Ochoa’s grows, our heart remains the same—family, fresh food, and a place where everyone is welcome at our table.
The Food Speaks

The Machete — an overstuffed al pastor taco — became Ochoa's calling card fast. The birria earned its own fierce following among taco lovers who'd taste-tested their way across the region.

Within its first year, Ochoa's earned recognition from Wanderlog as one of St. George's top Mexican restaurants — and a shoutout from OregonLive. Earned one plate at a time.
